A Proud History
W J Tobin Real Estate was established in 1949 by William “Jack” Tobin, a very well known and respected local identity. Jack earned a reputation of integrity through hard work – a reputation which has been nurtured over the years and which still exists proudly today.
In the beginning, W J Tobin Real Estate was the only Real Estate Office in the Carina area. Over the years, many other businesses have been established; however, none can boast as strong a sense of local history and connection to the community as our unique office can.

Alan Franklin
Today, Tobin Real Estate is owned and operated by Alan Franklin. Alan has been a part of the Tobin story since the early 1970’s when he first joined W J Tobin Real Estate as a Salesperson. When Jack Tobin retired in 1979, Alan assumed ownership of the business and has taken it from strength to strength since then. Most recently, Alan has overseen a major office refurbishment which has delivered a fantastic new and streamlined work environment. |

Craig Loudon
Our Sales Manager Craig Loudon joined the team as a Salesperson in 1989. Craig has a wealth of experience and local knowledge which makes his opinion invaluable when advising owners of how best to Market their property. He is a highly motivated professional who is passionate about Real Estate Sales and is dedicated to providing the customer with the very best service. Craig is an expert negotiator who is renowned for being able to achieve outstanding results for his clients. |
Alan and Craig are a unified and dynamic team and have worked together for almost 20 years. Their combined local Real Estate experience is second to none and their commitment to maintaining and building on the W J Tobin reputation is obvious in their work with clients and sales staff alike.
The Tobin Sales Team
Our professional Sales Staff are a special combination of team players. We are extremely privileged to be able to draw on the skills of so many experienced Real Estate Sales People. In fact, the majority of our Sales Team has more than 15 years experience in the Real Estate industry!
W J Tobin Real Estate does not experience the high staff turnover rates that have become so commonplace in many offices today. This means that when you deal with us again further down the track, chances are you will be met by the same friendly and experienced faces each time.
